Detailed itinerary

1

Begin your tour very early in the morning with a convenient pickup from your accommodation. Enjoy on the way to Porto Vromi the views of the awakening nature with the olive groves, vineyards, traditional village houses, old churches, and stunning panoramic views of the turquoise sea waters.

2

From the small port, board the medium-sized boat and for about 20 minutes sail along the west coast of the island and enjoy unique landscapes with enormous limestone cliffs that fall into the sea and white secluded beaches.

3

As you reach one of the most famous beaches you feel blessed without having to share this view with the crowds. Although the beach is closed for safety reasons, because the area is still prone to landslides, the captain will go very close to the shore for you to snap some photos of the shipwreck, which grounded onshore in 1980 and lies still in the middle of the white sandy beach.

4
Stop 4

Then, head to the "Blue Caves". The name comes from the mesmerizing blue coloration of the water within the caves. This distinct blue hue is the result of the sunlight passing through the seawater and reflecting off the limestone walls of the caves, creating a captivating visual display. Take about 30 minutes for swimming and snorkeling here.

5

Stop at Sfogio or White Beach, a secluded pebbled beach close to the shipwreck which is a characteristic sample of the natural beauty of Zakynthos. Take a break and enjoy swimming, soaking in the sun, and the peacefulness of this amazing place, close your eyes and just take this memory with you.

6

As you take the way back to the small port from where you started you will have the chance to marvel at the heart-shaped cave and also at Poseidon's Face which is a magnificent rock formation that resembles the face of the Greek god Poseidon. It's a natural wonder created by the forces of erosion, showcasing the power and beauty of nature. Capture this awe-inspiring sight and let it leave a lasting impression on your Zakynthos adventure.

7

You must be hungry by now and what would be better than a traditional Greek lunch in a family-run taverna with delicious home-cooked dishes, fresh homegrown vegetables, and homemade wine? And when you are full you can start dancing to the sounds of Greek music, syrtaki and more! Your local guide will show you the moves!!

8

Exo Hora is a small village famous for its extremely old olive tree that is said to be more than 2,000 years old. It is one of the seven oldest olive trees in the Mediterranean, and probably one of the oldest olive trees in the world. It still produces olives to this day. Here you will find some traditional products of the area and the local farmers that you can taste for free as oil, olives, wine, and liqueurs as well as biological beauty products.

9

Our last stop is Shipwreck Viewpoint, so prepare yourself and your camera for some stunning views. Make sure you wear comfortable shoes because we will walk on a stone path to reach the best scenic spot for your photos.
