Spend your morning on this classic Rome tour, seeing all the top attractions in Rome’s ‘centro storico’ – its historic center. By both coach and foot, . On the Classical Rome tour, you’ll get up close to the highlights of the Eternal City, including the Trevi Fountain, Piazza Navona, the Pantheon, and St. Peter's Basilica. After crossing the Piazza della Repubblica, with its Fountain of the Naiads, your guide will take you on a pleasant stroll through Rome’s historical center. Piazza Barberini is a square in the current historic center of Rome located in the saddle between the Quirinale hill and the Horti Sallustiani .
In the center of the square is the Triton Fountain created by Gian Lorenzo Bernini in 1643 commissioned by Pope Urban VIII Barberini. It is made of travertine and features, between the tails of the four dolphins supporting the triton, two coats of arms of the Barberini. On the corner with Via Veneto there is the Fountain of the Bees, the insect symbol of the Barberini .

It was completed by the emperor Hadrian . Since the 7th century, the Pantheon has been in use as a church dedicated to "St. Mary and the Martyrs" (Latin: Sancta Maria ad Martyres).
