Let me show you where my family and I go to enjoy the food of Ecuador in the city of Quito.
Let me give you the best introduction to Quito through its food, culture, traditions, history, people, and tourist spots in the Old Town, without forgetting the new part of Quito. Feel part of the city’s natural beauty with its parks, its historic center (the best preserved in South America), and the mountains and volcanoes that surround it.
This experience is all about the local food that Quito families enjoy every day. Of course, we’re talking about places with a lot of tradition, but also with lots of flavor in their dishes.

We’ll start by diving into the urban art scene of one of the coolest areas in the city: La Floresta. You’ll love its murals, full of fine details, reflecting the creativity of the local street artists. The houses in La Floresta are colorful and feature beautiful, meaningful murals with all kinds of themes. As our guide talks about the city’s reality, the country, and gives you a quick rundown on the murals, you can admire the artistic beauty of each one.
Next, we’ll visit a real local market with fruits, veggies, roses, and much more that will give you a true sense of the richness of our country. Let yourself be swept away by the smell of the roses, the taste of the fruits, and the colors of products grown in different natural regions. We’ll do a fruit tasting and also get a glimpse of everyday life in Quito.
