Detailed itinerary

1

We’ll start by diving into the urban art scene of one of the coolest areas in the city: La Floresta. You’ll love its murals, full of fine details, reflecting the creativity of the local street artists. The houses in La Floresta are colorful and feature beautiful, meaningful murals with all kinds of themes. As our guide talks about the city’s reality, the country, and gives you a quick rundown on the murals, you can admire the artistic beauty of each one.

2

Next, we’ll visit a real local market with fruits, veggies, roses, and much more that will give you a true sense of the richness of our country. Let yourself be swept away by the smell of the roses, the taste of the fruits, and the colors of products grown in different natural regions. We’ll do a fruit tasting and also get a glimpse of everyday life in Quito.

3

Ready for our first food stop in the Andes region?
We’ll go to a place where locals love to eat, and the tradition of Andean food will be part of our experience. Humitas, tamales, quimbolitos, and more will be on the menu.

4

Want to see the city from up high, in the mountains? Our next stop is the Quito Cable Car. This place is one of a kind in the city, with views from 13,000 feet! Our guide will explain the city’s expansion and show you iconic places in Quito. We also offer an optional trip to the Andean moorlands to learn about local plants and animals. Then, we’ll stop at a local café to try more Andean food. There’s even a swing in the clouds for great photos with a stunning natural backdrop. And of course, you can snap a photo with the local Andean llamas.
Are you a coffee lover? Or how about sipping some amazing tea with the best views of Quito? Cruz Loma Café is the best spot for this. Trust me, I’ve tried coffee all around the city, but this one blew me away.

5

Next, we’ll take you to taste all the delicious seafood from the coastal region. From authentic Ecuadorian ceviche to the iconic fish soup (encebollado) loved by Ecuadorians. This place is a local favorite.

6

We’ll also visit Carolina Park, a great spot to enjoy the natural beauty right in the heart of downtown. Our private tour and guide will share lots of info about the new part of the city.

7
Stop 7

The historic center is waiting for us with more food, culture, and history.
We’ll make a quick stop at the Basilica del Voto Nacional to admire its stunning Neo-Gothic architecture, and then explore Quito’s historic center – it’ll leave you speechless with its beautiful streets, plazas, and colonial buildings in the heart of the city.
On our walking tour, we’ll check out some iconic places that are packed with history and full of Ecuadorian flavors, from traditional drinks like Ecuadorian cocktails to local sweets, and, why not, the best chocolate in the world?
