The history of Finland is colourful – and it’s reflected in our food! The heart of Finnish cuisine lies in purity: wild berries, mushrooms, game from deep forests, fish from clear lakes and the sea, creamy dairy products, and hearty bread made from rye and oats.
Join your local guide for a tasty walk through the soul of Helsinki. As you sample delicious local flavours, you’ll also hear fascinating stories about the city’s past and present. On this tour, you’ll experience not only food but also Helsinki’s unique architecture, design, and culture – plus, you’ll get insider tips on where to shop and explore further!

Admiring the railway station, a great example of our Art nouveau by Eliel Saarinen, from outside and inside. Close to the station 2 additional important buildings, the national theatre and national gallery.

In this area there are many very interesting sights to see, like the Parliament, the museum of contemporary arts, the new music hall, the Finlandia hall and Oodi, our new central library that has in 2019 won the price as best library of the world.
