Detailed itinerary

1

Legazpi Boulevard

One of the most picturesque roadsides in the Philippines can be found in Legazpi City. In the north of the Legazpi Boulevard, the spectacular look of the Mayon Volcano and the Katipunan Hill connects the beauty of nature to the said road. The Albay Gulf and its islands being in the east of the boulevard add more splendour to the coastal road network. As it extends from the city’s central business district and port area to the southern barangays, it showcases the mountains of Sorsogon being in the south.

2

Rolling Only: Albay Capitol, City Hall, Penaranda Park, Headless Monument, Trylon, Sawangan Park, Embarcadero,
Highlands Park

Note: Plus the travel from one destination to another.

3

The park is a favorite place for picnics and field trips due to its cool temperature reminiscent of Tagaytay’s People Sky Park, and its panoramic views of the surrounding towns, ocean and mountains. Adjacent to the park’s multi-purpose hall is Mayon Planetarium and Science Park where photo exhibits and documentaries about volcanoes are shown. It has become one of the top destinations in Albay and is the best place to go to get up close and personal with the beautiful but dangerous volcano.

4

The park has served as a tourist and religious attraction. It is opened to the public for people to appreciate nature and environment. The Carmetlite Nuns of the Holy Trinity put up the Divine Mercy Monastery and a life-size images of the Station of the Cross in the area. The first five stations can be seen along the uphill walkway, while the remaining nine were installed around the crater ring. To date, the Kawakawa Hill offers pilgrims a unique Way of the Cross, especially during Holy Week.

Note: You can choose whether this destination or Bambusetum

5

This is a simple place where you can commune with nature under the shades of different varieties of bamboo.

Note: You can choose whether this destination or Kawa-Kawa Hill

6

The cave has stood strong amidst all the calamities that hit the town, making people consider it as a safe spot and using it as a make-shift evacuation center for the townspeople. Before that, it had become a refugee camp by Filipinos during the Japanese occupation in World War II as it was used as a hospital and orphanage at that time.

Hoyop-Hoyopan cave also served as where partygoers stayed when the curfew was strictly imposed nationwide. More than a shelter, the Hoyop-Hoyopan cave has also become a place to visit for its scientific contribution where researchers traversed the inner layers of the cave that lasted up to 11 hours to trek.

7
Stop 7

It is an open space location ideally for a picnic ground and campsite. It also has a children’s playground and free-range horses and sheep inside the ranch. Above all, among the other places in Albay, Quituinan Ranch has the best view of the majestic Mayon Volcano.

8

Sumlang Lake with a land area of 9.21 hectares is located in Barangay Sumlang, Camalig, Albay. Sumlang is known for its recreational and aesthetic value. It is also a habitat of various flora and fauna and a feeding area for migratory and resident birds. Sumlang Lake offers activities like Kayaking, Balsa Tours, Aqua Bike, Sightseeing, Picture taking, Picnics and Fishing @Fishyalan. We also have One Town One Product (OTOP) Napa Food and Craft Pasalubong Center where you can find different local products.

9

The majesty and beauty of Mayon Volcano can be seen throughout Albay but there’s certainly no place like Cagsawa Ruins Park where the view of the said volcano can be witnessed almost perfectly. It is the very first national park in the country. The Mayon Volcano in Albay is known for its almost perfect cone shape. It is the most famous tourist attraction in Albay Philippines. It is the main landmark and the highest point of the province of Albay, even in the entire Bicol Region. Its magnificence catches the hearts of so many.

10

One of the country’s National Cultural Treasure is found amidst Daraga Albay. The Church of Nuestra Señora de la Porteria, better known as the Daraga Parish Church, flaunts its majesty nestling on top of a hill above the busy town. Its stunning vista overlooking the sea and the majestic Mayon Volcano allures tourists and pilgrims to swarm over this Baroque church.

11

One of the emerging farm & eco-tourism sites in Albay is FarmPlate. It is considered “Albay’s version of Farmville” & another first of a kind in the province of Albay.

It is located at Gabawan Daraga Albay just a few kilometers away from the town proper of Daraga and a perfect place to unwind, relax & be one with nature.

It has a capacious space with IG Worthy sceneries that includes a barn house, a playground, a picnic area, a vegetable tunnel & plantation, a mini resto, a fire area & more. You can also rent the place for photoshoots or any other events.
