Detailed itinerary

Stop 1

Po Nagar is a Cham temple tower founded sometime before 781 and located in the medieval principality of Kauthara, near modern Nha Trang in Vietnam. It is dedicated to Yan Po Nagar, the goddess of the country, who came to be identified with the Hindu goddesses Bhagavati and Mahishasuramardini, and who in Vietnamese is called Thiên Y Thánh Mẫu.
The Po Nagar complex is situated on Cù Lao Mountain. It consists of three levels, the highest of which encompasses two rows of towers. The main tower is about 25 m high.
The temple's central image is a 1.2m tall stone statue of the goddess Yan Po Nagar sitting cross-legged, dressed only in a skirt, with ten hands holding various symbolic items. According to Vietnamese scholar Ngô Vǎn Doanh, these attributes show that Yan Po Nagar was identified also with the Hindu goddess Mahishasuramardini or Durga, the slayer of the buffalo-demon. Another sculpture of the goddess Mahishasuramardini

Dam market is regarded as the most famous market in the coastal city of Nha Trang because of its beautiful architecture and uniqueness. It sells diverse goods from various areas along the southern coast such as fresh seafood, dried food, souvenirs, clothing, and footwear. Let's go to Cho Dam market Nha Trang right now if you want to buy any specialties from the South Coast area.
Dam market was officially opened after being planned and built, and it quickly became one of Nha Trang's largest markets, with a 5270 square meter floor surface and a capacity of up to 3000 people.
This market has a new one-of-a-kind architecture. The round shape of Dam market draws visitors' attention from afar. The roof of this market is said to resemble the undulating waves of the sea. Others say it resembles the pistil of a lotus blooming in the middle of the swamps, with the lotus petals pointing out as the city's various streets.

Owning several Guinness World Records and considered as the largest pagoda in Nha Trang, Long Son Pagoda is worth visiting once in a lifetime if anyone wants to run away from hectic schedule, do self-reflecting or experience spiritual activities.
Situated in Khanh Hoa province, Long Son pagoda (originally called Dang Long Tu) was founded in 1886 by the abbot Thich Ngo Chi at the top of Trai Thuy hill where the current Buddha statue is located nowadays.

After the devastating cyclone in 1900, it was moved down hill. Following the wish of the very first abbot Thich Ngo Chi, the temple became the headquarters of Vietnam Buddhist Studies Association in Khanh Hoa in 1936. Then it was under renovated and restored a few times from 1940 to 1971 especially after the period of the Vietnam War.
Discovering the temple should be done from the downhill, conquering 193 steps to the top of the hill where the largest Buddha statue in Vietnam is sitting. There are four main impressive highlights

Stop 5

Hon Chong Promontory standing at La San foothill, Nha Trang is an incredible group of boulders stacking one another without any special adhesive substances. Especially, there is the largest square-shaped rock lying on the highest and having a huge five-fingered hand indentation on its side overlooking the sea.

According to scientists, this site is the consequence of the tide’s erosion over a hundred years, yet there are three typical mythical stories about the formation of Hon Chong.
As one of must-visit attractions in Nha Trang, Hon Chong complex is the intersection between harmonious nature and bustling coastal city, which can blow any tourist’s mind when standing zooming out the eyesight as large as possible.

Initially, it is obviously the unique handprint on the square-shaped rock that visitors should pay a visit in order to enjoy the marvelous creation of nature. Becoming more appealing when it comes to dawn or sunset
