Gyeongbokgung Palace
Gyeongbokgung, meaning "Palace Greatly Blessed by Heaven," is the largest and most iconic of the Five Grand Palaces built during the Joseon Dynasty in Korea. Originally constructed in 1395, it served as the main royal palace for over 500 years. Although it was destroyed and rebuilt multiple times throughout history, it remains a stunning example of traditional Korean architecture and design.

The palace complex includes impressive gates, beautiful pavilions, serene gardens, and the National Palace Museum of Korea and the National Folk Museum. One of the highlights of visiting Gyeongbokgung is witnessing the colorful Changing of the Guard Ceremony, held several times daily at the main gate.
