Detailed itinerary

1

The silhouette of the Three Beauties of Cappadocia consisting of red rocks and the magnificent Erciyes Mountain behind it can turn even amateur photography into art during the twilight times of the sun. In night lighting, it makes them believe in legends by making them watch as if they are alive.

2
Stop 2

Throughout history, the castle was always the main point of defence for the Cappadocia region. These days, the road leading to the entrance is not lined with soldiers but local women selling their wares and tares as traditional Cappadocian souvenirs. Numerous hollow vessels, rock tombs and a large water cistern are housed inside the castle - all welcoming you as silent witnesses of history and human life.

3

It is a place where you can watch the whole Cappadocia from a bird's eye view and take great photos. You can sip your coffee between the tours and have a great time

4

This Unesco World Heritage site is an essential stop on any Cappadocian itinerary. First thought to be a Byzantine monastic settlement that housed some 20 monks, then a pilgrimage site from the 17th century, this splendid cluster of monastic Byzantine artistry with its rock-cut churches, chapels and monasteries is 1km uphill from Göreme's centre.

5
Stop 5

Devrent Valley, also called as “Imagination Valley” is one of the fantastic regions of Cappadocia. The valley is also one most popular places to see in Cappadocia that travelers may experience and enjoy the beautiful lunar landscape of Cappadocia, the most surreal landscape of the region.

6
Stop 6

Pasabag Valley, also known as “Monks Valley” is one of the most popular fairy chimneys areas of Cappadocia, situated between Avanos and Goreme. Pasabag Valley is also one most popular places to see in Cappadocia that travelers may experience mushroom shaped fairy chimneys with multiple stems and caps.

7

The current name of the town - Avanos - is a corruption of the name Evranos. It was the name of a Seljuk commander who conquered Cappadocia in the 11th century. The memento of the Seljuk period of the history of Avanos is the nearby Sarı Han caravanserai, built on the orders of the Sultan Kaykaus II in 1249 and the red river divides this city in half, sometimes angry, sometimes silently, it flows through the middle of the city.
