We leave from your hotel in Quito at 09h00, directly to the path that leads to the Ecuadorian Amazon Rainforest. After travelling through the Valley of Tumbaco, crossing the eastern cordillera of the Andes, and then descending through the cloud forest, you will reach the small village of Papallacta and enjoy its healing hot springs!
Upon our arrival we visit the interpretation centre, which provides us information of the protected area and its surrounding areas! Then we continue with our spirit of adventure in a nature walk along marked trails and pristine mountain streams, observing the flora and fauna of the Andean forest.
After this rewarding trek, and enjoying a tasty lunch, you will relax in the SPA waters that emerge from the internal geological layers through fissures to the surface, with a unique healthy potential and beneficial effects of clear air, which originates from the amazon air singular encounter with the rocks. In the hot spring pools, you can experience the remarkable healing effects attributed to them!
Before we return to Quito, your tour guide will show you a hidden hummingbird's farm, where you'll be able to watch at least 12 different species of exotic hummingbirds, plus several other tropical birds like flower piercers and jays! You'll arrive back to your hotel at approximately 16h30.
Pick up will be done from your hotel or address, within Quito's district, at 9:00 a.m. Please be on time.
