Your tour guide will pick you up at 9:00 a.m., from our meeting point located at LA PRADERA NEIGHBORHOOD (Mariana de Jesús E7-74 St. and La Pradera St.) right outside of HOTEL CASA Q., in order to drive you towards the best viewpoint of Quito!

You will take a ride on a cable car, which is located at the foothills of the Pichincha Volcano, in an area of 160 hectares. The ride takes 15 minutes per way, starting at 3.045 meters (9,990 ft) and end up at 4.100 meters above sea level (12,500 ft). You will enjoy a beautiful view of the eastern valleys, old town, south and north of Quito.

Then we continue to the northwest of Quito to head the famous Intiñan Museum, geographically located at 0 degrees, 0 minutes and 0 seconds, that marks the division between the northern and southern hemispheres as established by the French Geodesic Mission in the Eighteenth Century. You will see beautiful displays of different ethnic groups in Ecuador, plus the story of their lifestyles, explained by a specialist tour guide! This is an opportunity to be photographed with both of your feet on the northern and southern hemispheres at the same time!

On the way back to Quito, you will see from the road the Equatorial Monument that was built between 1979 and 1982.
