About this experience

Join us on a private family orientated tour of Munich. With a length of one and half hours long you will be whisked through the old city of Munich while your guide explains history for the adults and shows the quirky, mythical and downright odd parts of the city to entertain the children. From seeing dragons to the best pretzels in the food market this is aimed firmly at families who want to see the best of the city.

Detailed itinerary

Stop 1

We will begin by examining the Mariensaule and the mythical creatures around it. We will then watch the famous Glockenspiel play before we head into the beautiful Town Hall and find a dragon

Stop 2

In the Cathedral of Munich we will see the devils footprint and talk about the legend of how the devil himself built the Cathedral

Stop 3

In Munich's oldest church you will see famous relics and see a clockwork toy

Stop 4

We will explore the famous food market, sampling local specialaties such as Pretzels and trying ice-cream from the 'Crazy Ice Cream Man' who sells flavours such as salmon, beer or white sausage (for the truly brave)

In Munich's oldest castle we will explore the museum and look at life in medieval Muncih

In the most famous beerhall in the world we will look at local traditions and customs

Stop 7

We will see the palace of Munich and talk about some of the ghost that haunt it
