Located about 30 km south of the city of Nazca; you will find open tombs in adobe and stone wall pits, with mummified bodies in the fetal position, surrounded by ceramic fragments, textile remains and other funerary objects, some mummies still show strands of hair.
On the tour there is a small local museum (which exhibits recovered pieces, explains the nazca funeral rituals and provides historical context.
