The Kuiperspoort is a picturesque meshwork of alleys, with old warehouses, beautifully restored houses, stepped gables, hidden corners and peepholes

The tower is one of the highest church towers in the Netherlands. Built in the second half of the fourteenth century. The tower can be climbed to half height

The Graanbeurs is located in the middle of Dam Square in Middelburg, surrounded by the nicest cafes in town.

The synagogue is located between Herenstraat and Sint Janstraat in Middelburg. The synagogue was built in 1705, making it the first synagogue to be built in the Netherlands outside of Amsterdam.

In the middle of Middelburg lies a cluster of old buildings around a large square, the almost 900 year old abbey complex.

Besides Yeast Gate, it is also called the Blue Gate or Blue Gate. Another name is Ankerpoort, named after the beer brewery 'Den Anker' that used to be located here.

One of the places in Middelburg that reminds of the slave trade.

In the past, the daily catch of fish was traded here. Now it is almost entirely taken up by the terrace of St John. It is wonderful to sit in the shade of the tall trees.
