About this experience

(St. Mary's Glacier)
Join us on a hike up to St. Mary's Glacier all year round. We will begin at 10,200 feet of elevation and ascend through the stunning Colorado forest and end with a breathtaking panoramic lake view.

(Beau Jo's Pizza)
We will eat lunch at Beau Jo's, which has been around since 1880 and is one of Colorado's hidden gems and is not included in the price. Idaho Springs is a gold mining town founded in 1859 during the Gold Rush. (Lunch is not included in the tour price)

(Indian Hot Springs)
Next we visit another historic landmark and soak in the natural geothermal cave pools, which will be perfect for our muscles after our hike and is included with the price.

If you want an experience with little risk and a whole lot of reward, this tour is for you.

Explore St. Mary’s Glacier like a local on or off the beaten path. The hike up to St. Mary's Glacier ascends through the stunning Colorado forest and ends with breathtaking panoramic views. This is one of the easier trails in Colorado(1.5 miles round-trip).

The caves were driven into the solid rock mountain side, between 1903 and 1911, specifically for the purpose of creating this unique facility. Each one has several huge, sunken, walk-in hot tubs filled with naturally hot mineral water at temperatures from 104° to 112°. Caves are gender specific and bathing suits are optional. Children 16 and under are not allowed in the caves.

Here we will eat famous Colorado style pizza at Beau Jo's Pizza and explore the city.

We will be meeting downtown in Denver at Birdcall inside of Whole Foods Market across from Union Station.

Important notes

We are exited for our adventure. Please email info@adventurecoloradotours.com for any questions or concerns. We will be meeting downtown at 1920 17th St, Denver, CO 80202 at Ink Coffee which is across the street from Whole Foods and close to Union Station. It should be easy for everyone to get there via public transportation or Uber. I would not drive because parking is hard to find and/or expensive. Here is a link for nearby parking garages.

However, if you plan on driving yourself to the hike please message us let us know in advance. Typically 9:15 AM is when we arrive to the glacier. (St. Mary's Glacier, Colorado 80452)

Make sure you bring a swimming suit, warm socks, hiking boots, warm gloves and/or beanie, water bottle, and a towel. We will supply crampons or snowshoes for the bottom of your feet

Colorado weather is very unpredictable so we would dress warm and in many layers and bring a warm jacket(you can always take layers off). We will bring a snack for everyone (granola bar), but you can bring extra snacks if you wish. Beaujos is the place we will be eating and has the best pizza in Colorado(This is not included in the fee).

We will give you a 10 minute grace period. But will wait no later than 10 minutes past the departure time to respect the other guests time.

Please go to the website and fill out the waiver form (adventurecoloradotours.com) before the experience. The email you put down in the waiver form will be the email we will share your pictures with.
