Detailed itinerary

You will leave Barcelona early in the morning to avoid crowds when accessing Montserrat. The first part of the journey will be by bus. The bus trip will last 1 hour.

Get off of the bus and enjoy a 15-minute journey on the Montserrat rack railway. This trip will offer you the mountain’s unique skyline and spectacular views. The train has panoramic windows that allow you to admire the beauty of the landscape around Monistrol to Montserrat.

Discover this awesome place located at an incredible mountain range, famous for its scenic views, hiking trails, and monastery.

Stop 4

The guide will explain us around the enclosure, we will have time to visit the Abbey and we could walk around during our free time. You can visit the Basilica, the Throne of the Virgin and the Audiovisual Room.

Stop 5

Enjoy the flavors of the mountains with a tasting of Montserrat liquors. Afterward, we will head back to Barcelona center, the trip will last 1h 30 minutes.

Meeting point

The guide will be waiting on the "Estación de Francia" with a sign of Amigo Tours. You can arrive on the subway line L4 to the "Barceloneta" station, once there, take the exit to "Plaça Pau Vila". You can arrive also on bus line 47. The meeting point is at the main entrance of the station.
