About this experience

With this half-day excursion it will be possible to explore the varied world around Etna, we will pass through lush pine and beech woods, as well as ancient and recent flows. We will also visit the spectacular "Grotta dei Lamponi" one of the most beautiful Etnean caves.

Detailed itinerary

The tour starts from the Ragabo pine forest (located in the northern part of Etna) from where, taking the Altomontana track, we will continue westwards until we reach the famous "Grotta dei Lamponi" where we will make a quick visit, then we will continue through a beautiful beech forest that it will lead to the “Timpa Rossa” refuge, here after a short break we will return along dirt roads immersed in the woods that will lead us back to the starting point.
