Day 1: Marrakech to Zagora via Ait Ben Haddou and Ouarzazate
Start your day with a scenic drive through the High Atlas Mountains, passing through the Tizi N'Tichka To Zagora desert, admiring the picturesque villages clinging to the mountainside. Our first stop in our Zagora desert trip will be at the UNESCO-listed Kasbah of Ait Ben Haddou, a popular filming location for movies such as Gladiator and Babel. After lunch in Kasbah of Ait Ben Haddou, we will continue our journey towards Zagora desert, passing through lunar landscapes and the rugged Pre-Sahara and desert routes to Zagora. As we approach Zagora desert, you will catch the first glimpse of the Sahara desert with its mesmerizing desert sand dunes. You will experience a camel trek through the Zagora desert, taking in the breathtaking views of the sunset and sunrise in Zagora desert. Enjoy dinner and spend the night in Zagora.
Day 2: Zagora to Marrakech via Draa Valley and Ouarzazate
After breakfast in Zagora desert, we will depart to Marrakech from the desert, stopping on the way to visit the town of Ouarzazate, including the Kasbah of Taourirt and a cinema studio. We will then drive back to Marrakech through the Tizi N-Tichka pass, offering stunning views of the surrounding landscape.
