Detailed itinerary

Stop 1

The Tiger cave temple, also known as Wat Tham Suea in Thai, is one of the most sacred Buddhist temples in Thailand and is known for the tiger paw prints in the cave, the tall Buddha statues and of course the exhausting hike up the Tiger cave temple mountain with incredible views. It’s absolutely worth climbing the 1260 steps until you reach the summit on top of the 309 meter high cliff. The view over Krabi is amazing with all the limestone cliffs and beautiful lush rain forest

2

Wat Kaew Korawaram, also known simply as Wat Kaew, is the largest Buddhist temple within Krabi Town and one of most prestigious in the entire region. The majestic staircase leading to the 2,500sqm terrace on which the temple stands, is lined with magnificent statues of Nāga, the fascinating Hindu deity with the body of a serpent. At the top of the stairs you will find the large temple complex featuring white walls and unusual dark blue tiled-roofs. Wat Kaew’s ordination hall is very bright with open windows on all sides and features a red ceiling as well as splendid paintings on the light blue walls. It houses a large golden Buddha statue and some precious Buddha relics

3

Railay Beach is an absolute dream beach in Krabi and certainly one of the most important attractions of the peninsula. The emerald sea and the mighty rock formations conjure up a picture-perfect backdrop here. Due to the fine sand and the hardly existing stones or corals in the water, the sea invites quite wonderfully for bathing.

4

On Phra Nang beach you can find the famous Phra Nang Cave, a special kind of rock cave. For local fishermen, this cave, which is often referred to as the Princess Cave, is sacred. For sure you will immediately notice the many phallic statues, symbols and offerings, which should fulfill a long-desired wish for getting children and fertility. The Princess Cave of Phra Nang Cave is truly iconic and therefore one of Railay’s most famous attractions.
