First brake of the tour is to be amazed of the engineering and the ingredients of stone bridges from 16th century. We’ll walk on the most well known stone bridge of Zagori while observing the huge cliffs to the both sides of the bridge

A view to the longest stone trail in Greece which includes 1500 (approximately) stone steps, 39 turns and 2 singled arched stone bridges which was until the decade of 70’s the only way to go to the highest village in Zagori area (1340 meters altitude)

Hiking trail for all is our next stage but you need to carry with you swimming equipment in order to swim at a natural pool beside a 20 meters waterfall. Total distance from the village (Iliohori or Dobrinovo) is 1km, total hiking time is 15 minutes of descending (when we go) and 30 minutes of ascending (when we return)

Sarakatsaniki Stani is an initiative of the Sarakatsana Brotherhood of Epirus.
Ιn an area of about 20 acres of public forest, overgrown with firs and pines, granted for use to the Brotherhood. Α complex was built that tries to reproduce as faithfully as possible the environment of Sarakatsan life.
A fundamental characteristic of this life was the nomadic and semi-nomadic animal husbandry, which dictated the movements of the Sarakatsanians from the mountains of Pindos to the plains of Epirus.
The Brotherhood has represented cowsheds, corrals, struga, gazebo, loom, cheese factory, teacher’s hut, small church, etc., in order to stage the old way of life.
All this is surrounded by a Museum room, and a canteen room.

This last brake is to observe the statue of Zagorian Women which honors them because they helped the armed forces during 2nd world war. It is 6m height and 2 tons weight
