About this experience

Kumana National Park is the sixth largest park in Sri Lanka with a land of 35,664 hectares. This
was earlier known as Yala East National Park. This park is situated in the Ampara district of
South-east corner of Sri Lanka. The park is 391 kilometers southeast of Colombo on Sri Lanka's
southeastern coast. Kumana Bird Sanctuary, declared in 1938, is included within the Kumana National
Park.

Full board 35 USD (One night two days)
Guide’s meals will be served separate from the guests, except guests need to request in advance. In such cases guests need to settle the guide’s bill.
Inside the national park you need to follow the rules which are given by Department of Wildlife staff member.
Arrival time will be 11.30 a.m. at the park entrance. Your punctuality is utmost important, late arrivals may result inconvenience to guests with the schedule.
Lunch has to be taken at the camp site. It’ll be a unique experience to the guest.
clients must understand that we are a mobile camping operation and not a permanent camp site.
Please be kind enough to understand this hectic work process hence do not demand unreasonably. If you have any problem please contact our person in charge in the camp site.
Please note that driver guides accommodation will be outside the national park at a cost of 30 USD. (Full board)
