Skiing in Tufandag

The ski season starts on 15th December and continues until 31 March at Gabala's Tufandag ski resort. Here, the 15 kilometres of ski slopes provide some unforgettable moments. There are green and blue ski slopes for beginners and moderate skiers, and red and black slopes for advanced and professional skiers. You can rent skiing equipment and sign up for ski lessons with professional instructors.

This oldest and largest mosque in Azerbaijan, Shamakhi Dzhuma, according to the legend was built in the 8th century when Shamakhi was chosen as residence by an Arabian caliph.Built more than 1,200 years ago Shamakhi Dzhuma mosque still remains one of the largest cult structures of the Caucasus.

Suspension bridge, Ismailli (Ismayilli) District, Shirvan, Azerbaijan. An iron suspension bridge spans the Girdmanchay, a fast-flowing river. The bridge is one of the most whimsical rivers in Azerbaijan. Girdman was built on the river in 1969. The bridge is 28 meters long and is the most important pedestrian path to the village of Zarnava.
