First, we’ll drive towards kasbah Ait Ben Haddou we’ll pass through the great mountains of tizi ntichka. On the way we’ll stop and enjoy the landscape with a panoramic views of tizi ntichka. We continue our excursion until we reach Ait Ben haddou. We’ll visit Ait Ben haddou, the largest Kasbah in Africa. This beautiful Kasbah is a fortified Ksar (Royal Palace) with impressive buildings and spectacular mud houses. The majestic Ait Ben Haddou gives a perfect example of the marvelous ancient Arab-architecture. Leave Ait Ben Haddou towards Ouarzazate “ city of movies”.
We’ll explore the high walls of Ouarzazate. We will introduce you to its colorful Souks and authentic buildings before heading to its Tremendous Film Studios. You will have an opportunity to visit film studios and even enjoy a lunch or Aita coffee at the studio cafe hotel. When visiting Ouarzazate, very often there is a chance to see international and even Hollywood film crews shooting a movie. Films such as Lawrence of Arabia (1962), The Living Daylights (1987), The Last Temptation of Christ (1988), The Mummy (1999), Gladiator (2000), Kingdom of Heaven (2005), Kundun (1997), Legionnaire (1998), Hanna (2011), and Salmon Fishing in the Yemen (2011) were shot there. Also, we’ll visit Kasbah Taourirt is one of the most impressive of its kind in Morocco. Kasbah Taourirt was considered the largest Kasbah in Morocco and today is classified as a historical monument giving tribute to the Glaoui. Taourirt is one of the most beautiful Kasbahs in Morocco. In the past, it was a strategic location controlled by the Glaoui for the Saharan Caravan Route to West Africa. During the tour, we have a lot of things to see and to do during your day. The last stop would be The Red Marrakech, where your trip ends at the starting point. Then we will drop you off at your hotel.
