About this experience

This private post-cruise tour of Rome will pick you up at Civitavecchia Port, directly beneath your Cruise Ship and, at the end of your day, deliver you to Fiumicino Airport to catch your flight. Your English-speaking driver will take you on a half-day tour through the Eternal City, showing you many of its highlights, such as the Colosseum, the Trevi Fountain and the Spanish Steps. Stop 1

Navona Square, corresponding to the Stadium of Domitian, is the place where you can admire the Fountain of Neptune (Giacomo della Porta - 1586) and the imposing Church of St. Agnes in Agony of Borromini.

Stop 2

The Trevi Fountain, the clear Baroque style is the work of Nicola Salvi. The artist was responsible for the construction of the fountain in the eighteenth century after winning a competition organized by Pope Clement XII.

Vatican area where you can visit St. Peter's Square rebuilt and redesigned thanks to Gian Lorenzo Bernini between 1656 and 1667, the Basilica, the reconstruction of which was entrusted to Bramante, then Raffaello Sanzio, Giocondo da Verona, Giuliano da Sangallo and Michelangelo finally.
