Detailed itinerary

1

Luanda is a cosmopolitan city, full of life - maybe a little too much, if we think that sometimes, for a few kilometers, we can occupy a good part of our day.
Thus, we created a tour thinking of those who want to get away from the hustle and bustle of the big city and, more than a touristic tour, look for different images and sensations, with a sense of adventure and discovery of this fantastic territory that is the west coast of Angola.

2

What we propose is an exit from the metropolis towards the south, having as its final destination the Cabo Ledo tourist development pole, about 120 km from Luanda. Inserted in the environmental protection area of the Quiçama National Park, it is a fantastic bay of blue waters and extensive white sand beaches, inviting long walks by the sea, always accompanied by the lush landscape of the earth-colored cliffs.
Cabo Ledo began to be sought out, a few years ago, by a handful of people who aimed to enjoy the weekends. Nowadays, with the opening of the country to tourism, it is becoming more and more in demand, with new tourist spaces and activities appearing, for example, turtle watching, learning to surf, boat trips, etc.

3

Our tour leaves Luanda at around 6:00 am. We pick up in the city and surroundings.
After the edges of the colorful houses that flank road nº 100 on the way to Cabo Ledo, we see, off the coast, the island of Mussulo - in reality, a peninsula that extends over 40 km and is filled, on its sandy coast, holiday homes, resorts and seaside resorts.
We quickly started to see baobabs, huge and centennial trees, which are often found in the equatorial regions. Behind is the silhouette of the rooftops of Luanda - our adventure begins here.
Towards our destination, on board a classic Land Rover Defender 4x4, we are giving information about the local geography, history and fauna. The first stop takes place, covering 50 km, in a mandatory photo stop, Miradouro da Lua, with a totally unobstructed view of civilization.
