Stop 1

Passeio pelo Cristo Redentor, which, for the sake of it, does not know an art deco statue that portrays Jesus Christ, located off the hill of Corcovado, 709 meters above sea level, not Tijuca National Park. There is a marvelous view for the greater part of the city of Rio de Janeiro. In 2007 I was elected as one of seven wonders of the modern world and, since 2012, it has been considered part of the Rio landscape, included in the list of World Heritage Sites.

A Escadaria Selarón is a beautiful architectural work located between the bairros of Santa Teresa and Lapa, not RJ. It was decorated by the Chilean artist, Jorge Selarón, who declared it a "tribute to the Brazilian povo."

Also known as the Metropolitan Cathedral of Rio de Janeiro, it is a Catholic cathedral located in the Center of the City of Rio. It was inaugurated in 1979, replacing Igreja de Nossa Senhora do Carmo.

Lovingly like Maraca, it is a soccer stadium located in the North Zone of the Brazilian city of Rio de Janeiro, where it was the stage of numerous important events of Brazilian soccer.

The Sambadrome is located on Avenida Marquês de Sapucaí, in the central area of the city of Rio. This is the stage for the large parade of the Samba do RJ School Parade. A show of hearts, brightness and energy! An event that is known as the greatest event of the world carnival, or Brazilian carnival.
