About this experience

On this private tour, we offer you to explore two cities under UNESCO's protection: Diocletian's palace along with the historical core of Split, and the historical core of the city of Trogir and the ruins of Salona - the capital of the Roman province of Dalmatia.

Your guide will pick you up from your hotel or from your cruise ship.

First, you will have a guided tour of the Old City of Split including inside visit of Diocletian palace.

You will have a drive to Trogir, where you will explore the city center and also have a visit to Kamerlengo fortress.

The last stop will be at the Salona ruins with a guided tour.

In the end, your guide will take you back.

The Bronze Gate, or "the southern gate" is the smaller of the four principal Roman gates into the stari grad of Split that was once Diocletian's Palace. Originally a sea gate from which the Emperor entered the complex by boat, via the basement rooms in the Imperial Palace.

The Temple of Jupiter is a temple in Split, Croatia dedicated to the Ancient Roman god Jupiter. It is located in the western part of Diocletian's Palace near the Peristyle, the central square of the imperial complex.

The Silver Gate, Latin: Porta argentea, or "the Eastern gate" is one of the four principal Roman gates into the stari grad of Split that was once Diocletian's Palace. The gate faces east towards the Roman town of Epetia, today Stobreč.

Solin is a town in Dalmatia, Croatia. It is situated right northeast of Split, on the Adriatic Sea and the river Jadro. Solin developed on the location of ancient city of Salona which was the capital of the Roman province of Dalmatia and the birthplace of Emperor Diocletian.

Trogir is a town on the central Adriatic coast of Croatia. Its preserved old town, known for its mix of Renaissance, baroque and Romanesque buildings, lies on a small island connected to the mainland and the island of Čiovo by bridges. The 13th-century Cathedral of St. Lawrence houses the Renaissance Chapel of St. John and offers sweeping views from its bell tower. Parts of the medieval city walls remain intact.

The Cathedral of St. Lawrence is a Roman Catholic triple-naved basilica constructed in Romanesque-Gothic in Trogir, Croatia. Since its construction lasted several centuries, it illustrates all the styles that succeeded one another in Dalmatia. It serves now as the most imposing monument in the city of Trogir.
