One of the loveliest towns anywhere along the Adriatic coast, picturesque Piran (Pirano in Italian) sits prettily at the tip of a narrow peninsula. Its Old Town – one of the best-preserved historical towns anywhere in the Mediterranean – is a gem of Venetian Gothic architecture. In quieter times, it’s hard not to fall instantly in love with the atmospheric winding alleyways, the sunsets and the seafood restaurants.

On the way to this architectural and artistic mediteranian pearl the driver will stop you on Belveder view point from where you will join a unique view to Trieste bay and mountain of Julian alps and Dolomites behind. You will continue true picturese scene of olive tree plantation on one side and wineyards on the other side.

In nature park Strunjan you will see an 80 meters high cliff along 200 meters of the coast which is known as the highest flysch cliff in the east part of the Adriatic.

After unforgettable visit of Piran town the tour continue passing poetically Portorož, or Port of Roses - home to one of the top resort destinations on Adriatic coast.

After only 5 minutes ride you will stop on hill Seča at Forma Viva Open Air Stone Sculpture Collection, Portorož and than reach a fantastic view to another sight seeing: Sečovlje Salina Nature Park, where salts are extracted from the pure sea water using interesting traditional methods.
