Famous for the grape varieties and their wines, the villages we will cross are home to many well-known wineries. Our first stop is at Agios Thomas, a village at an altitude of 760 meters and with a history dating back to 1371 AD.
Continuing our journey, we will cross the Messara valley, driving through olive groves before reaching the famous Monastery of Virgin Mary, Odigitria. Following a beautiful dirt road we will arrive at Matala, the village of southern Crete where the hippies lived in the 70s. Here, you will have free time to admire the village's beauty and visit the hippies' caves.
Finally, we will return to the hotel through a tranquil route. This wonderful journey will leave you with memorable pictures and longing.
