Detailed itinerary

Stop 1

When you first see Mont Saint-Michel, a sense of trepidation and unreality of what is happening appears. The majestic abbey in the style of flaming Gothic is located on the island-rock and since 709 has been enclosing a micro-city in its walls. You can walk through the mysterious halls, look into the monastery cathedral and refectory, get acquainted with the life of monks, walk along the only Grande Rue street built with medieval stone houses, sit in one of the cozy cafes serving oysters and calvados. From the observation deck on the rock there is a stunning view of the sea. The incredibly interesting history of the abbey and the former prison, mysteries and mystical coincidences will take you on an exciting journey a few centuries ago.

Please pay attention that entrance tickets and professional guide service is not included in the price. We can offer you these services at extra charge.
