About this experience

This is the best wine tour in Christchurch/Canterbury. You will visit some of the best wineries in North Canterbury on the all-inclusive Waipara Wine Experience wine tour with Giles Tours. This tour includes tutored tastings at 3 boutique wineries and a delicious winery platter lunch. Departing Christchurch at 10.30am, you’ll taste a quality selection of wines in the up-and-coming Waipara wine region, including stops at Pegasus Bay, Torlesse Winery and Terrace Edge/Georges Road wineries. Learn from your knowledgeable guide about Waipara’s unique micro-climate as you taste a range of world class red and white wines. This is a shared tour but we only need a minimum of 2 people to run the tour with a maximum of 6 per tour. For private tours or a personal guided tour visit the operators website.

Truly a boutique winery run by wine-maker owner Kirk Bray and his wife Alison. Together they produce some of the most stunning wines in the area in a winery with some of the best views anywhere.
