Meet your Tour Assistant at Herculaneum main entrance and get kitted out with your glasses before listening to a quick introduction to how to use them. Then, begin your tour guided by your Tour Assistant which has been designed by an archaeologist team to show you what life was like in Herculaneum before the eruption.
The software of the glasses creates holograms that overlap the existing ruins, showing what the most significant temples, houses, and buildings originally looked like. Cast yourself into the bygone age of ancient life in Herculaneum, walking through the city to feel like a Roman.

Our Tour Assistant will meet you at the entrance of the archaeological park and takes you along the main route where you will see Herculaneum as it was in the past and as it is today thanks to our 3D glasses with augmented reality.
Head to the snack area next to the ticket office. Your tour leader will be waiting close to the vending machines with a sign that has "AR Tour" written on it. Please arrive 15 minutes early
