About this experience

There’s no better way to experience a safari by doing a Hot air Balloon safari with BURIGI CHATO SAFARIS CO L.T.D, A sunrise hot-air balloon flight over the Serengeti sure is one of the most unforgettable and extraordinary adventures you can do and it’s definitely one of the main highlights of your safari. The hot-air balloon gently takes you up in the air and floats wherever the morning winds may take you. During the ride, you have a stunning and far-reaching view of the great plains of the Serengeti. You can spot big herds of wildebeest and Big-5 right below you.
At the right time of year and with a good amount of luck you might even be able to experience the great migration. The dry season (June to October) is the ideal time for a hot-air balloon safari. During the rainy months (March, April & May), some balloon rides are still available, but the actual flight is dependent on weather conditions. During heavy rains and/or winds the balloon, unfortunately, can’t take off.
