Batista Amado Park – DE starting point to feel the Earth alive
Between the silence DA Mendiga and the murmuring DA mountain, the Batista Amado Park is where the journey begins. Here, the stone and water have met for millions DE years, shaping the territory and teaching us how to listen to the landscape. It is the natural portal to the Water Roof, where the limestone breathes and the rain draws ephemeral shapes.

Discovered in 1994 in an ancient limestone pebble, they reveal about 20 tracks with hundreds OF footprints attributed to sauropos DE, giant herbivorous dinosaurs that lived about 175 million years ago. The marks, preserved at the bottom OF an ancient lagoon, allow you to observe the size, rhythm and direction of the steps of these animals, making the place a view DA the open book of Earth history.
