About this experience

The tour starts from the Portavecchia promenade in Monopoli, riding a mountain bike, to the plain of centuries-old olive trees, where you can admire wonderful olive trees and discover the secrets about the production of extra virgin olive oil. It will be a journey through time, crossing fortified farms, an ancient underground oil mill with a real oil museum, as well as rock churches with medieval frescoes. An emotional journey that will allow you to discover authentic places in this corner of Puglia, along country roads and ancient tracts. A relaxing ride in nature, in the shade of centuries-old olive trees, carob trees, almond trees, figs and prickly pears, along secondary roads and old clay paths lined with dry stone walls.
