About this experience

After a pickup from your Dubai hotel, travel by private, air-conditioned 4x4 into the desert that surrounds the city.Continue the drive to the Desert and reach the region of dunes that provide the perfect terrain for sandboarding. Enjoy an adrenaline rush sandboarding down Dubai’s desert dunes.Witness a spectacular sunset upon reaching our traditional Arabian Campsite where you will be welcomed with ‘Gahwa’ Arabic coffee and local dates. Experience camel riding, sand boarding and get a henna tattoo then relax with a ‘Shisha’ Arabic water-pipe. Whet your appetite with a Shawarma or Falafil sandwich, both popular local snacks before settling in to watch the evening's live entertainment. A mesmerizing traditional folk dance, Tanoura is followed by a spectacular fire blower show. Take a break and enjoy a delicious barbecue dinner thereafter. Detailed itinerary

After a pickup from your Dubai hotel, travel by private, air-conditioned 4x4 into the desert that surrounds the city. On route, learn about the desert geology and the UAE’s age-old customs from your private driver-guide.

First stop on your desert rendezvous is a traditional camel farm to see herds of the magnificent hump-backed herbivores. After showing off your balancing skills on a camel ride around the enclosures, learn about the different types of camels that are commonly seen in the desert around Dubai.

Continue by 4x4 across the desert plains to the campsite in the desert and try your hand at a popular local pastime: sandboarding! Learn to master the art of 'surfing on sand' and race your friends and fellow travelers down the sand dunes during in an adrenaline-rushing experience.

Show off your balance skills on a camel ride or relax and take a seat outside to watch your show as the sun sets over the craggy canyons and sun-baked plains. Get a henna tattoo design on your hands or feet, watch a traditional tanoura folk dance, and feast on a delicious barbecue dinner or try out our new shawrma station.

After dinner, smoke a shisha (Arabic water pipe), if you wish, and watch a live belly-dance performance around the campfire. Relax under a canopy of twinkling stars and enjoy an experience that could be straight out of One Thousand and One Nights! Your tour then finishes with a drop-off at your Dubai hotel.

Dress code: lightweight summer clothing is suitable for most of the year, but sweaters or jackets may be needed for the winter months, especially in the evenings. Good quality sunglasses are advised. Hats are advisable when in direct sunlight.
Guests visiting the UAE during the Summer months (June – September) are advised that peak daytime temperatures sometimes reach 42 – 45 degrees Celsius. Humidity levels can also exceed 90 percent during this period. We recommend all our guests to take adequate precaution.
The Dubai desert can get cooler in the evenings during winter, so we recommend you bring a light jacket and closed shoes. Please wear sports shoes for safe sand boarding.
The local tour operator reserves the right to cancel any part of the scheduled programs because of government decisions, public holidays, weather conditions, or other similar circumstances.
The duration of the actual tour takes 5 – 6 hour but the driving time from Dubai hotel and return may take another 60 – 90 minutes depending on traffic conditions and time of day.
Due to safety precaution process, please note that we will NOT be conducting "Falcon show" & 'Ayala Dance" during the Desert safari from 01 Nov 2020 until further notice.
During the Islamic holidays / Ramadan fasting month,there will be a restriction on live entertainment ( Belly dance , Tanoura dance) and serving alcohol throughout the UAE. Therefore the Safari will be operated without these entertainments and serving of alcohol at the camp site during these days.
