This excursion will take you out of the beaten path with the best boat for watching the Teahupoo waves and an experienced captain / guide.
You will visit the part of Tahiti which has no road access, reachable only by boat.
On our way to the South, we will make a few stops including :
•wave watching
•short walk for visiting on land
•river swimming
•snorkeling

Meet your guide/captain at the marina of teahupoo where some cofee and bakeries will be served before leaving the marina.
First stop will be the famous Teahupoo reefbreak where you will be able to watch the waves and surfers. In the safety of the channel, your experience captain will explain you all you need to know about this special place.
Then, you will head south. Passed the end of the road is the « Fenua Aihere » and its fantastic landscape and vegetation, accessible only by boat because no road access.
Enjoy the sightseeing as we cruise in the lagoon.
You will make a stop in the mouth of the « Vaipoiri » river and will be able to go on land for a little walk in one of the last « mape » tree forest. Learn about the local plants.
On the way back to the marina, you will make a last stop for snorkeling in a coral garden on a white sand bar.
To Join us, you need to drive past the only grocery store in Teahupoo called « Magasin Teahupoo ». You keep driving for about 300-500 meters, so you have to drive slow. The marina is located ocean side before a white/green little bridge. Just ask for Teahupoo Adventure when you get there.
