About this experience

Discover or rediscover the maze of the city of Dijon in a different way accompanied by a local guide from "La Vélo Vie". This half-day by bike will allow us to soak up the atmosphere of the region and to explore more of the city than in a day on foot.

You will discover the places of relaxation preferred by the inhabitants of Dijon. A multi-faceted city, we also suggest that you cross the remarkable parks and squares of the city center. We will also make a “nature” detour via Lac Kir and its small beach.

The little extras: discovering Dijon also means tasting its local specialties that we love so much... We will taste some of these little wonders during a gourmet break!

Stop 1 Pass by

Discover the maze of the city of Dijon with a local guide, passing through the alleys of the historic center and discovering the favorite places of relaxation of the population. Place Wilson is one of them.

This half-day by bike will allow us to soak up the atmosphere of the region and to explore more of the city than in a day on foot. We will discover the Place de la République and the Sadi Carnot monument on this large pedestrian square.

Stop 3

Our path will follow the pretty alleys of the historic center to discover the treasures of the city. The square and the market of the halls are essential places of life in the city center.

A multi-faceted city, we will discover the superb Notre Dame church and its Chimères. A surprise awaits us at this stage of the visit.
We will pass close to a local mustard factory, we can stop there!

Stop 5

A little pleasure on sunny days, we will discover Place Darcy and the prestigious Hôtel de La Cloche*****.

We will discover, Place de la Liberation, the large Philippe le Bon Tower and this semi-circular square with superb water fountains!

Stop 7

We will gradually leave the city center to admire the parks and natural spaces of the city. We will walk to the Port du Canal de Bourgogne for a historical explanation of this waterway.

A little pleasure on sunny days, we will make a “nature” detour by Lake Kir and its small beach. You read correctly, Dijon has a beach, did you know that?

We will ride along a cycle path along the Burgundy Canal to reach a place of nature par excellence: the Parc de la Colombière.
Between its educational farm, its joggers, its tall trees and its acrobatic course in heights, the park is very lively!
It is in this place full of life that we will stop to taste the products of the region!
