A mountain day, 14km and 900m of ascent, to the summit of this world-renowned mountain. A truly amazing mountaineering experience with the help of a guide. The day includes walking through farmland and then old mountain trails, stunning mountain ridges and of course the 360-degree panoramic views from the summit (weather permitting!).
The path we will take for the ascent only ever has a handful of walkers and midweek we'll have it to ourselves! This is remarkable as Snowdon is quite rightly the most visited mountain peak in the UK. This allows our tour to the summit of Snowdon to be a relaxed event with a true flavour of isolation, a true mountain experience. The descent is 'off piste' and follows the escarpment edge, dramatic views straight down into the valley below and across to the slate town of Llanberis. The hike will be delivered by a fully qualified mountain leader who will know a great deal about both Snowdon and Snowdonia, and of course the mountains of Wales in general.
