A few hundred meters south of Lipari is the suggestive island of Vulcano, the last stop of our tour, approximately 1:45 h
According to Greek mythology, the forges of Hephaestus, the god of Greek fire, were located here.
The reason is obvious: you can observe fumaroles and jets of steam at the top of the active volcano Fossa and under the sea water.
Vulcano creates a special, almost ancestral relationship between the island and the visitor. The island is the ideal place for trekking lovers, who can reach the top of the crater to enjoy a priceless landscape (weather permitting!).
Return to the port of Tropea at approximately 19:15.
