We only have 2 tour slots a day to give each group ample time. This is a small family run business and you will be greeted and guided by an owner the entire time here. We do accomidate families/large groups & single travelers! For group size requests over 6 guests please contact Howling Bay Kennel direct through their website.
Our weight limit per guest is 250lbs clothed. If you exceed the weight limit, but meet the physical requirements and can comfortably participate, we may be able to accomidate you as a single rider for a double booking fee. Enjoy a dog powered sled ride through a scenic snow covered forest. Upon arrival we will insure your outfitted in gear. The dogs will be raring to go and we will take off for approximately 45 min sled ride. We will then spend time thanking our loving companions, take pictures for you, followed by time to pet and love the dogs here including our puppies! Warm up with a cup of hot chocolate in our geodesic dome afterwards! Be sure to contact for your exact start time.
We are located a quick scenic 20 min drive north of Fairbanks. From Fairbanks take Steese Expressway north to Fox, AK. Continue north on Elliott Highway to mile 6. We are directly on your left at mile 6 Elliott Highway.
