- 8.00 – 8.30: Pick you up at your hotel in Hanoi Old Quarter area
8.45: We start the trip by visiting the Tran Quoc Pagoda – was first built in Hanoi in 6th century. You will see the oldest Bodha Tree in Vietnam planted by Ho Chi Minh.
- 9.15: Next place for visit ‘Ho Chi Minh Mausoleum’ the final resting place of the beloved Vietnamese hero, Uncle Ho (inside tours available). At about 10:30am we will take a visit to the ‘One Pillar Pagoda’, an ancient historic temple.
- 11.00: After lunch we have 2 options for visit
Option 1 : Bat Trang ceramics & pottery village
(On Mondays – Wednesdays – Fridays )
Option 2 : Vietnam Museum of Ethnology
(On Tuesdays – Thursdays – Saturdays & Sundays)
- 12.30: We have lunch at local restaurant with local Vietnamese food.
- 13.30: We shall visit the world famous ‘Temple of Literature’ (constructed in 1070 - dedicated to Confucius, sages and talented scholars). It is the most famous temple in Hanoi, also functioning as Vietnam's first university and one of the first in the world!!!
- 15.45 : Leaving for Hoan Kiem Lake to visit Ngoc Son Temple where worships General Tran Hung Dao who defeated Mongolian invader in 13th certury.
-16.15 : Tour finishes. Back to hotel
