About this experience

Spend 1 whole day with a National Government Licensed English Guide Interpreter touring on a bus around the popular Mt. Fuji/Kawaguchiko area. Also visit the Arakurayama Sengen Park, popular on SNS sites in Japan and around the world, located halfway up Mt. Fuji, a registered World Heritage Site. Climb up 398 steps and behold the Chureito Pagoda, the symbol of Sengen Park. The scenery of the Chureito Pagoda with Mt. Fuji towering beyond in the background is just like postcard.

A Japanese-style or Vegetarian meal will be served for lunch, depending on the option you book. You can choose boarding location from Tokyo Station Marunouchi South Exit/Entrance Hato Bus boarding area or Shinjuku Station East Exit Hato Bus boarding area. The tour will end at each locations (same as departing station).

Stop 1

The bus will head up to the 5th Station along the Subaru Line. The 5th Station is situated at 2,300 meters (7,546 feet) above sea level. At this height, you will be amazed at spectacular, breathtaking views from above the clouds. If Mt. Fuji's 4th or 5th Station cannot be reached due to road surface freezing, an accident on the Fuji Subaru Line, weather conditions, or other reasons, the tour will be guided to Oshino Hakkai or Fujisan World Heritage Center.

Enjoy lunch at Hotel Regina Kawaguchiko or at Highland Resort Hotel & Spa. The meal venue may change depending on restaurant circumstances. Muslim-friendly meals, allergy-friendly meals, gluten-free meals, etc. are NOT available.

Cross the Lake Kawaguchi Ohashi Bridge and gaze out at Lake Kawaguchi from the vehicle window.

This park is rich with scenic views of the city, located right in view of Mt. Fuji. Chureito Pagoda, the symbol of the park, can be reached after climbing up the 398 steps of a stairway. Especially during the cherry blossom season, this place is a greatly popular spot among local and international visitors as it offers a scenery of Mt. Fuji, Chureito Pagoda, and cherry blossoms captured all together in one photo.

The order of the tour itinerary is subject to change due to road conditions or other reasons.
Due to weather conditions, Mt. Fuji may not be visible. However, the tour will not be canceled and refunds will not be given for this reason.
If Mt. Fuji's 4th or 5th Station cannot be reached due to road surface freezing, an accident on the Fuji Subaru Line, weather conditions, or other reasons, the tour will be guided to Oshino Hakkai or Fujisan World Heritage Center.
For the Arakurayama Sengen Park sightseeing, the bus disembarking and boarding location will be Shimo-Yoshida Station on the Fujikyuko Line. About a 10-minute walk one way takes the tour to Sengen Shrine. In addition, a long stairway with about 398 steps up to the scenic spot Chureito Pagoda, the park's symbol, takes about 15 minutes one way. Those who are not confident in their physical stamina may have to wait for a few minutes at the Sengen Shrine.
Depending on the season and day of the week, traffic conditions may vary, and arrival time at each location may be considerably delayed.
Drop-off is available only at Shinjuku Station (West Exit). The tour will not return to Tokyo Station.
Children up to 5 years old may join free of charge, but will not be provided with bus seats. If a seat on the bus is required for the child, please make a booking at the Child rate.
With Lunch: Japanese cuisine meal with meat and fish or Vegetarian meal at Hotel Regina Kawaguchiko or at Highland Resort Hotel & Spa. The meal venue may change depending on restaurant circumstances. There is a separate tour code for those who prefer a vegetarian meal, so please book that instead if preferred. Changes may not be made on the day. Muslim-friendly meals, allergy-friendly meals, gluten-free meals, etc. are not available.
The bus company to be used on the tour is Hato Bus Co., Ltd. In an effort to prevent global warming, the bus will have its engine and cooling/heating turned off while waiting. In general, groups with an odd number of members will share seats with other customers. Please keep your seatbelts fastened on board the bus.
Parental permission in writing is necessary for all tour participants under the age of eighteen. Any participant under the age of fifteen or not yet enrolled in middle school must be joined by a parent or guardian on the tour.

Meeting point

Meet by 8:20AM at JR Shinjuku Station East Exit side, facing Gucci Shinjuku Flagship (opposite side). Please wait at the Hato Bus Boarding Area No. 2
