About this experience

Detailed itinerary

After meeting at the elevator hall on the 1st floor of Hotel Granvia Osaka, our staff will guide you to Shin-Osaka Station using public transportation. From there, you will enjoy a comfortable ride on the Shinkansen bullet train to Hiroshima Station with reserved seating in either a Standard Car or the premium Green Car. Please note: This train journey is unguided. Upon arrival at Hiroshima Station, your local tour guide will greet you on the platform and escort you to the tour bus boarding point, ensuring a smooth and stress-free start to your Hiroshima adventure.

Stop 2

Established in the 6th century, this shrine is one of Japan's finest, and is famous for its beautiful Shinden-zukuri style structure (architecture representative of a nobles' residence in the Heian period). The contrast of the green of Mount Misen behind the lacquered shrine pavilion and the blue of the Seto Sea is beautiful and evocative of the underwater palace of Ryugujo.

Stop 3

Time for lunch is allotted on Miyajima. This region is known for oysters, Hiroshima-style okonomiyaki, and conger eel rice bowl, which are available at many shops on Miyajima. Customers are free to enjoy their preferred meals. Lunch is not included in the tour booking charge.

The Atomic Bomb Dome is a symbol of the disastrous atomic bombing during WWII, the first atomic bombs used in human history, and has been preserved as it was to promote peace and elimination of atomic weapons around the world.

Stop 5

This large-scale park was established in 1949 after the Pacific War ended, and is visited by countless visitors as a symbol of peace. The museum within the park is an Important Cultural Property of Japan, and was built to remind future generations of the terror wrought by atomic bombs.

Travel comfortably by bullet train "Shinkansen" from Hiroshima Station to Shin-Osaka Station with reserved seating in either a standard car or the premium Green Car. Please note that this segment of the journey is unguided. At Shin-Osaka Station, our assistant will wait for you and lead you to Osaka Station. Public transportation will be used on this segment. Seating is not guarantee. as all trains have non-reserved seats. The tour ends upon arrival at Osaka Station.
