Arrive at the hiking starting point at 10:30. We begin by passing through an ancient Taihu village and start climbing the first mountain: Dengwei Mountain. The first peak is the most challenging part of the journey, so it is recommended to bring trekking poles.
Once we reach the mountaintop, Taihu Lake lies beneath us.
We then continue to climb the second mountain: Midui Mountain, and the third mountain: Xuanmu Mountain.
Around 14:30, we arrive at the final stop of our trip, which is also one of the most important destinations: Xiangxuehai (Sea of Fragrant Snow)!
Xiangxuehai has the longest history of plum blossom appreciation and the richest cultural heritage, renowned as "the best plum blossoms in the world under the fragrant snow." Emperor Qianlong visited Xiangxuehai six times to enjoy the plum blossoms and celebrate the arrival of spring.
