Mount Vesuvius (tickets and alpine guide in a small group included) : it is best known for its eruption in AD 79 that led to the burying and destruction of the Roman cities of Pompeii, Herculaneum, Oplontis and Stabiae.
You will be able to visit the volcano, which reaches an altitude of 4,203-feet (1,281-meters). From there the crater can be reached on foot by using a path that is 0.75-miles (1,200-meters) long that takes you to the summit of the volcano.

Visiting Pompeii is not like a museum , is as live again in an ancient roman commercial town of 3 Km. Buildings, temples, shops catched in the time of the eruption.

The Volcano:
• Access to the crater with a volcanology local guide in small group is part of the ticket.
• Vehicles do not go to the top but will drop you off at an altitude of around 1000m. The trail to the top climbs just under another 200m.
• If weather conditions don’t allow to trail to the top, from the altitude of around 1000m you will have time to enjoy the panoramic view. No refund is due.
