Stop 1

Here comes to a beginning of the most awaited trip, as soon as reach Agra, you will be introduced to our professional guide. He will take you to Taj Mahal built by the famous Mughal emperor Shah Jahan in the loving memory of his wife Mumtaz Mahal. Taj Mahal is not a piece of architecture, as other buildings are, but the proud passions of an emperor’s love wrought in living stones.

Agra Fort will be the next in your list. This huge fort is built by Emperor Akbar in 1565; this is made up of sandstones standing alongside with River Yamuna. Shah Jahan son Aurangzeb imprisoned him during the last eight year of his life in this fort, where from he could watch the tomb of his wife. . The maze of the courtyards, mosques & private chambers of the fort echo the story of the Mughal Empire.

The Itmad-ud-Daulah’s Tomb is one of the most impressive architectural wonders of Agra City. This monument is considered to be the inspiration behind the Taj Mahal. For this fact it is known as the “Baby Taj Mahal”. Many tourists that visit Agra for the Taj Mahal also look for the Itmad-ud-Daulah’s Tomb.

After visiting Baby Taj visit the sunset point of Taj Mahal known as Mehtab Bagh is a charbagh complex at the backside of the Taj Mahal or on the opposite side of the Yamuna River, in the flood plains.(It's optional if you have time you can visit)
