About this experience

A 4-in-1 tour, nature, city, volcano and adventure, where you will visit the beautiful city of Liberia. Then the falls Llanos del Cortes to follow the beautiful volcano Miravalles where we will be in Las Hornillas, a site that is at the foot of the volcano and near many of these geysers. Here, you will ride horses or be towed in a horse-drawn carriage to a nearby forest. You will walk for 40 minutes through a biologically diverse forest and visit some picturesque waterfalls.

After the hike, you will enjoy a swim in the local hot springs. Let your muscles relax while you enjoy the views of nature or get covered in volcanic mud.

Discover the hidden gem of the Llanos de Cortez Waterfall, hidden amid the unspoilt landscapes of the Guanacaste region. As you make your way through the tropical forest, the sound of cascading water grows louder, signaling your arrival at this natural wonder. The view of the waterfall is breathtaking, with its crystal clear waters falling on moss-covered rocks to a quiet pool below. Take a refreshing dip in the cool waters, surrounded by lush vegetation and the symphony of nature. Relax on the sandy shores, enjoy the warm sun and enjoy the serenity of this secluded paradise. It is the perfect conclusion to a day full of adventure and exploration.

Here you will observe the active crater burners of Miravalles volcano with volcanic mud pots whose temperatures range from 40 to 100 degrees Celsius. You can watch fumaroles, hot stones and crystallized sulfur, among other scenic beauties. You can also make use of the mud baths in our outdoor/natural spa, as well as 3 thermal pools where you can take advantage of the large number of properties that these volcanic waters have. Horseback riding is also done to the waterfalls and Muco Cabro Hill and includes crossing a 40-meter long suspension bridge with stunning views of the waterfall. It also includes hiking on primary forest trails where you can see a variety of animals such as birds, reptiles and others.
