Stop 3

Hot springs and volcanic mud bath. This is after lunch, you'll be taken to the hot springs. Surrounded by tropical dry forest, the Black River Baths feature ten pools with hot springs naturally heated by the Rincón de la Vieja Volcano. The relaxing mineral waters are crystal clear and completely natural, and the river flows through the pools constantly, filling them with water. Relax and enjoy the luxury of our healing waters. You can also try our volcanic mud “bath”, where you apply volcanic clay mud as a spa “mask” and then, after it dries, rinse it with a cold river shower. The hot spring water will feel great later!
