Nairobi Night Game Drive Safari is a more exciting way to spend a couple of hours in Nairobi National Park. The Park is completely different in the dark. The big cats come out to hunt and you will see animals you won’t see during the day. It’s a completely different world. Lions sleep all day and hunt in the evening, most of the cats are active just before and after sunset and this is when we take you on night game drives.
With a spotter and a light we look and listen for the animals, it’s an amazing experience. Animal behavior is quite different at night so observing the animals in the dark is a big part of any of your night safaris.
Nairobi National Park is conducted by experienced driver-guides in your safari cruisers or land cruisers that are fitted with powerful lights for proper sightseeing at night.

The sunset & night safari game drive trip starts in Nairobi at 1800 hours where you will be collected from your hotel and transferred to Nairobi National park. Once it is dark your exploration begins using spotlights to find the nocturnal wildlife such as civets, bushbabies, bats, hares, genets, wild cats, and porcupines.
Easily seen animals include zebra, wildebeest, giraffes, jackals, hyenas, lions, rhinos, and buffalo. In the park, you travel on dirt roads encountering far fewer vehicles on your game drive.
