Our adventure begins as we head towards the captivating Sandbank near Himmafushi Island. En route, we'll have the chance to cross the dolphin channel, and if luck is on our side, you may witness dolphins gracefully leaping and frolicking near our boat. This is a thrilling spectacle to behold.
Upon arriving at the Sandbank, you'll have the opportunity to partake in various beach activities, capture picturesque moments with your mobile phone, and take a refreshing swim in the crystal-clear waters. The Sandbank is a truly unique island structure, seemingly in the middle of nowhere, offering an unparalleled experience.
Our journey continues as we make our way to the charming local island of Himmafushi. Here, we'll serve picnic lunch for you to savor. Feel free to explore the island, immersing yourself in the local way of life, indulging in some souvenir shopping, and sampling delicious Maldivian snacks—a wonderful opportunity to connect with the culture and traditions of this community.
Following our Sandbank and Local Island Tour, we're in for an exhilarating snorkeling experience. We'll equip you with snorkeling gear, life jackets, and a life buoy to ensure your safety and comfort in the water. Our experienced Tour Guide will be on hand to assist you in exploring the breathtaking underwater wonders of the Maldives.
Depending on the prevailing water conditions, we might make adjustments to the snorkeling location to optimize your experience. At Kanduoih Giri snorkeling point, you'll have the opportunity to observe magnificent stingrays, a vibrant array of fish, and even the elusive Moray Eel. Alternatively, if we make a stop at Kurumba Snorkeling point, prepare to encounter sharks, vibrant corals, and a diverse selection of marine life.
For those eager to capture these underwater memories, we offer GoPro rental onboard. Don't hesitate to request this service from your Tour Guide, ensuring you can relive and share your snorkeling adventure.
Dolphin Cruise:
In the event that our morning dolphin encounter is not successful, we have an alternative plan in place. We'll set a course for the Dolphin Channel, a renowned open water channel where dolphin sightings are highly probable on a daily basis. Although it's a matter of luck, if fortune favors us, you'll witness the spectacular sight of hundreds of dolphins swimming in close proximity to our boat, leaping playfully through the waves. To enhance this enchanting experience, we often engage in clapping, a friendly gesture aimed at capturing the attention of these magnificent creatures.
Please note our meeting point is Hulhumale Excursion Jetty (Lakudi Jetty) at 9:00 to 9:30am. The boat will set sail at 9:30 AM.
Free pick-up service is provided for the guests staying Hulhumale Island.
